As stated on our homepage, this site is dedicated to driving broader awareness, understanding and adoption of Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Process Management Software (BPMS) by aggregating and digesting information, offering unbiased practical guidance and other resources for Executives, Process Managers and Other Process Practitioners.

Our Company

For over a decade our founder has been passionate about educating and aiding companies in realizing the benefits of BPM. We have a sincere desire to see all companies large and small achieve the benefits of BPM by implementing successful technology BPM applications and/or platforms. StraightForward Methods LLC provides affordable packaged knowledge (StraightForward Tools – founded in 2006) and various consulting services in the areas of Business Process Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, Software Development Lifecycle Management and Technology Product Management.

Independant Consultant, Founder and Editor in Chief Daniele Chenal's expertise spans Business Process Management (BPM), Software Development Lifecycle Management (SDLC) and Software Product Management and Marketing.

Daniele is widely acknowledged for her ability to quickly get organizations with divergent interests (end users, technologists, business managers and executives) communicating, organized, focused and working collectively to solve complex business process problems. She has worked with numerous organizations over 15 years implementing both indivdual BPM projects as well as helping companies develop roadmaps and expand to successful enterprise wide BPM programs and initiatives.

Her expertise includes Business Analysis and Workshop Facilitation, Project and Program Management, Process Mapping, Modeling and Design and BPMS application prototyping and implementation.

Daniele has over a decade of experience working for a BPM software vendor (Handysoft), co-founded and ran a software company specializing in software development lifecycle management and held senior positions with several leading technology companies inlcuding Compaq computers and Hewlett Packard.

Daniele has studied IT Benchmarking and Computer Science in Stanford University programs, is a member of IIBA and PDMA and is Lean Office certified.
